News   Broadway Lips Together Tickets Now Available in AmEx Pre-Sale
Tickets for the Broadway debut of Terrence McNally's Lips Together, Teeth Apart are available in a pre-sale that begins Feb. 15 for American Express card members.

Roundabout Theatre Company's new production of the acclaimed Off-Broadway play of the 1990s will star David Wilson Barnes, Megan Mullally, Patton Oswalt and Lili Taylor at the American Airlines Theatre.

Previews under the direction of Joe Mantello begin April 9 toward an April 29 opening. This is a limited engagement through June 20.

The rueful comedy about middle-aged relationship ruminations at a Fire Island beach house will have a design team that includes John Lee Beatty (sets), Tom Broecker (costumes), Paul Gallo (lights) and Darron L. West (sound).

According to Roundabout, "Lips Together, Teeth Apart takes place on the elegant deck of a beach house on Fire Island. A brother and sister and their respective spouses attempt to celebrate the Fourth of July with a gnawing uncertainty that makes their affluent habits and petty prejudices sizzle in the summer sun. In this unforgettable comedy, Terrence McNally does for the beach house what Chekhov did for the Russian country estate."

Beginning Feb. 15, tickets will be available exclusively to American Express Cardmembers at, by phone at (212) 719-1300, or at the American Airlines Box Office (227 West 42nd Street). The public on-sale begins Feb. 23 by calling Roundabout Ticket Services at (212) 719-1300, online at or at the American Airlines Box Office.

Mullally ("Will & Grace," Young Frankenstein, How to Succeed…) plays Chloe Haddock; Oswalt (Remy in "Ratatouille") plays Sam Truman; Taylor (Obie and Drama League winner for Aunt Dan and Lemon, Emmy nominee for "Six Feet Under") plays Sally Truman; and Barnes (Off-Broadway's Becky Shaw, Broadway's The Lieutenant of Inishmore) plays John Haddock.

McNally and Mantello most recently collaborated at Roundabout Theatre Company on the comedy The Ritz at Studio 54. Mantello, an associate artist at Roundabout Theatre Company, received a Tony Award for staging the 2004 Tony winning production of Assassins. He also directed Noël Coward's Design for Living and Rodgers & Hart's Pal Joey.

Lips Together, Teeth Apart will play Tuesday through Saturday evening at 8 PM with Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2 PM.
