Broadway Remembers Whitney begins at 9:30 PM at Joe's Pub.

The "celebration of Whitney's life through an evening of her music, arranged in concert for, and sung by, some of Broadway's fiercest voices — voices undeniably influenced and deeply moved by Whitney's presence and her artistry" features the talents of  Uzo Aduba (Godspell), Derrick Baskin (Memphis), Ato Blankson-Wood (Lysistrata Jones, Hair), Phillip Boykin (Porgy and Bess), Trevon Davis (Porgy and Bess), Nikkieli Demone (Rent, Ragtime), Lulu Fall (Hair), Chester Gregory (Sister Act, Tarzan), Phyre Hawkins (Hair), Morgan James (Godspell), Jay Armstrong Johnson (Catch Me If You Can), Mykal Kilgore (Hair), Kecia Lewis-Evans (Leap of Faith, The Drowsy Chaperone), Caissie Levy (Ghost), Carrie Manolakos (Mamma Mia!), Julia Mattison (Godspell), Emmy Raver-Lampman (Hair), Kacie Sheik (Hair), Wallace Smith (Godspell, American Idiot) and Pearl Sun (Next To Normal, Happiness) with Catherine Brookman, Nikki Kimbrough and Starr Busby.

Kris Kukul is the music director.

Proceeds go to the The Whitney E. Houston Academy of Creative and Performing Arts, a school that aims to teach its students to become contributing members of society now and in the next century.
