News Broadway Scares: Night of the Singing Dead, Featuring Evita Cast Members Plus Alice Ripley, Set for Oct. 28 Cast members from the Broadway revival of Evita will offer Broadway Scares: Night of the Singing Dead, a Halloween extravaganza to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Oct. 28 at XL Nightclub.

The 9 PM event will include a concert, costume contest and late-night dance party.

The concert will feature Evita cast members Rachel Potter, Bradley Dean, Laurel Harris, Brad Little, Jessica Lea Patty and Daniel Torres as well as special guest Tony winner Alice Ripley.

Drag diva Bianca del Rio will serve as hostess for the evening, which includes a post-concert costume contest for audience members. Perez Hilton will help judge the contest. The winner will receive two tickets to Evita, a backstage tour of the Marquis Theatre and the chance to meet Ricky Martin after the show.

A ghoulish dance party will follow.

Doors will open at 8:30 PM.

Tickets for this special benefit are $40 for reserved seating and $20 for general admission. They may be purchased in advance at broadwaycares.org or by calling (212) 840-0770, ext. 268.

XL Nightclub is located at 512 West 42nd Street, between Ninth and Tenth Avenues.
