News Broadway Sessions Welcomes Billy Elliot's Kehr and Singer Thompson Nov. 18 Broadway Sessions with Ben D, the weekly musical theatre-themed evening at the Manhattan bar Therapy, continues Nov. 18.

The special guests for the evening include Donnie Kehr, an ensemble member in the new Broadway musical Billy Elliot, and singer-songwriter Katie Thompson. Both will perform.

Kehr has also been seen on Broadway in Jersey Boys, Aida, The Who's Tommy, The Human Comedy and Legend. He is also the founder and executive producer of the PATH fund, which is known for its benefit concert series, "Rockers on Broadway." Kehr's solo album "Shift" is available on Cdbaby.com.

Katie Thompson's recordings include "What I've Done Right" and "KT LIVE," which are available on iTunes. Thompson recently performed her self-penned musical R.R.R.E.D in Los Angeles. She will be seen this spring in Michael John LaChiusa's new musical Giant at the Signature Theater.

Broadway Sessions with Ben D is hosted by actor Ben Cameron, who has appeared on Broadway in Footloose, Aida and Wicked. The evening of music, games and comedy at the midtown club begins at 11 PM.

Therapy is located in Manhattan at 348 West 52nd Street. There is no cover charge for the event; attendees must be 21 years or older.
