News Broadway The Hardway, With Lena Hall and Lauren Worsham, Rocks Diamond Horseshoe Tonight Broadway The Hardway, the acclaimed nightlife series featuring stars of Broadway, takes place May 21 at the Diamond Horseshoe. The evening serves as a benefit for The Tyler Clementi Foundation.

The 11:30 PM concert features The Deafening and Sky-Pony, with special guests Grace McLean and Brendan MacLean with Emmy winner Lance Horne. Jacob Langfelder produces the series.

Sky-Pony is led by Lauren Worsham (Tony nominee and Drama Desk Award winner for A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder) along with her husband, Obie-winning songwriter Kyle Jarrow.

The Brooklyn-based band serves up "lush, danceable indie-pop with a healthy dose of theatrics — incorporating costumes, choreography, and projections into their high-energy live shows."

Tony Award winner Lena Hall's band The Deafening also features Burt Rock on lead guitar, Dylan Doyle on rhythm guitar, Tommy Mokas on bass and Mick Harrison "whipping back the skins." Lead singer Hall won her Tony for Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased at broadwaythehardway.eventbrite.com. The event is 21+.
