News Broadway Theatre Manager Working on New Recording Jazz musician Joe Traina, who has been managing Broadway theatres since 1987, is at work on his fifth studio recording.

Entitled "Tip of the Hat," the new recording pays homage to the songs and styles of American jazz artists and composers Artie Shaw, Chet Baker, George Gershwin, Cole Porter and Richard Rodgers. Three-time Grammy Award-nominated composer, arranger, trombonist and singer Pete McGuinness will arrange, perform and sing on this record. Joining Traina and McGuinness will be pianist Jeb Patton, bassist Mike Karn, drummer Scott Neumann, trumpeter Greg Gisbert and tenor saxophonist Grant Stewart. A string section of violins, violas, cellos and harp will accompany the seven-piece ensemble on selected tracks.

Songs will include “’S Wonderful,” “The Touch of Your Lips,” “Old Folks,” “Get Out of Town,” “Frenesi” and “I Married An Angel.”
