News Broadway to Dim Its Lights June 30 in Honor of John Willis The marquees of the Broadway theatres will be dimmed June 30 at 8 PM for one minute to pay tribute to John Willis, the late editor of "Theatre World," who died last week at age 93.

Charlotte St. Martin, executive director of The Broadway League, stated, "John Willis was the archivist for Broadway for half a century, and 'father' to hundreds of Theatre World Award winners. He was a true gentleman who tirelessly supported and encouraged the theatre industry worldwide by nurturing new talent."
