NYC & Company organized the offer, created to bolster ticket sales during slower periods at the box office, for Broadway performances from Sept. 18-30.

Among the shows participating in the Broadway Week two-for-one promotion are The Addams Family, Billy Elliot, Chicago, Jersey Boys, The Lion King, Mamma Mia!, Man and Boy, Mary Poppins, Memphis, The Mountaintop, The Phantom of the Opera, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Relatively Speaking, Rock of Ages, Sister Act and Wicked.

"We are thrilled to continue the Broadway Week promotion with NYC & Company," said Broadway League director Charlotte St. Martin in a statement. "The fall is always an especially exciting time to be in New York City, and now even more so. The new Broadway season is kicking off, the long-running shows continue to provide wonderful entertainment, and theatregoers from outside New York City as well as New Yorkers who love the vast variety of plays and musicals can take advantage of this great value."

A sweepstakes is also offered, in which theatre fans can enter to win two Broadway tickets a month for an entire year.

The promotion also allows tourists to earn double Amtrak Guest Rewards Points, or to redeem the points for tickets. Additional companies involved include AARP, NBC and The New York Times.

Tickets for "Broadway Week" are currently available by visiting nycgo.com/broadwayweek.
