News Broadway Will Dim Its Lights Feb. 28 in Memory of Howard Kissel The marquees of Broadway theatres will be dimmed Feb. 28 at 7 PM for one minute in memory of Howard Kissel, the long-time theatre critic for The Daily News, who passed away Feb. 24 at the age of 69.

Charlotte St. Martin, executive director of The Broadway League, said in a statement, "Howard Kissel's wit, wisdom, and endless wonder about theater and all things cultural made him an important commentator for many years. His presence will be missed in our theatres and in our lives. Our thoughts are with his friends and family.”

Funeral services will be held Feb. 28 at 11:30 AM at Temple Shaaray Tefila, 250 E. 79th St.
