International theatre is now available from one's couch.

Thanks to BroadwayHD, viewers can stream a live performance of YIYA, El Musical from the landmark Teatro El Nacional in Buenos Aires, Argentina, September 8. The musical will be performed in Spanish and presented with English subtitles. The offering marks the first time that BroadwayHD expands to Spanish-language productions due to a partnership with Teatrix, an Argentinian streaming service.

The broadcast hits screens at 7 PM. Press notes describe the show as “a dark, hilarious Spanish-language musical based on the well-known case of the ‘Poisoner of Monserrat’. Yiya is indebted to her best friends and has no choice but to entice them to try one of her famous eclairs in an attempt to wipe them off the map.”

Teatro El Nacional is an ornate theatre built in 1906. It is an operational house, hosting ballet, opera, theatre and more, but also functions as a popular tourist attraction in Buenos Aires.

Monthly and annual BroadwayHD subscribers will be able to access the YIYA broadcast tonight (and for seven days on-demand). Live stream passes are available via BroadwayHD.com for $6.99.
