Neil McCaffrey and Gabriel Rush recently began performances in the role of Michael.

Liam Redhead will play his final performance as Billy Aug. 29, and Michael Dameski will play his final performance as Billy Sept. 5. No first performance date was announced for Mazurowski. The title role is shared by several young actors.

Mazurowski, 13, trained at the New Hampshire School of Ballet and will make his Broadway debut. He will be the tenth boy to perform the role on Broadway. Rush, 12, makes his Broadway debut after playing the role of Michael in the first national touring production of Billy Elliot in Chicago. McCaffrey, 12, was most recently seen on Broadway in Bye, Bye Birdie as Randolph McAfee and Mary Poppins as Michael Banks.

Billy Elliot the Musical, inspired by the film of the same name, features music by Elton John, book and lyrics by Lee Hall, choreography by Peter Darling and direction by Stephen Daldry. In the show, a boy from a working-class British family dreams of dancing ballet in the midst of a crippling labor dispute.

Billy Elliot the Musical currently stars Jacob Clemente, Michael Dameski, Alex Ko, Liam Redhead and Dayton Tavares as Billy, Kate Hennig as Mrs. Wilkinson, Gregory Jbara as Dad, Carole Shelley as Grandma, Jeff Kready as Tony and Neil McCaffrey and Gabriel Rush as Michael.
