ABC television confirmed that Spirtas is set for the ongoing drama that airs weekdays at 2 PM ET. The network promises that Spirtas' role will offer some surprises and a bonus treat for fans of "One Life to Live." An official start date for Spirtas has not been announced.
Spirtas is well known for his recurring role as Craig Wesley on "Days of Our Lives." In addition to his screen work, Spirtas stood by for Hugh Jackman in The Boy from Oz, performed in the Broadway companies of A Chorus Line and Meet Me in St. Louis, and played Corny Collins in the Las Vegas company of Hairspray.
Spirtas has also toured with his solo show, Nights & Days: An Evening with Kevin Spirtas. The concert is directed by Grammy Award nominee Bruce Kimmel, whose musical The Brain from Planet X featured Spirtas in its world premiere run and on the show's original cast recording.
