News Broadway's Master Harold Joins Second Stage's Wintertime Christopher Denham — who made his New York debut in Master Harold earlier this season — will join the cast of the upcoming Second Stage Theatre presentation of Charles L. Mee's Wintertime.

The Mee work is slated to run at the Off-Broadway venue, Feb. 3-March 21. Wintertime is a co-production with New Jersey's McCarter Theatre Center — where the show recently played.

Marsha Mason ("The Goodbye Girl") will star with Michael Cerveris (Tommy, the upcoming Assassins) in Wintertime, which follows a man who is about to propose at a secluded snowbound house when he finds that his mother and her lover already occupy the cabin. As if that was not enough, the father then shows up with his boyfriend.

David Schweizer directs a cast that also features Tina Benko, Brienin Bryant, T. Scott Cunningham, Carmen de Lavallade, Nicholas Hormann, Danny Mastrogiorgio and Lola Pashalinski. Denham replaces the actor McCaleb Burnett — who played the role of Jonathan (son to Mason's character) in the McCarter staging.

The design team for Wintertime will feature Andrew Lieberman (scenic), David Zinn (costume), Kevin Adams (lighting) and Eric Shim (sound).

Denham played the young boy in Athol Fugard's apartheid drama opposite Danny Glover and Michael Boatman. The actor has also authored six plays including In Film, Rapist James, The Last Penitente, and The Haven Trilogy as well as two novels, "The Bellringers" and "At the Spike."
