Broadway News Broadway’s Mean Girls Musical Will Offer In-Person and Digital Lotteries The musical from Tina Fey, Jeff Richmond, and Nell Benjamin begins March 12.

The Broadway premiere of the highly anticipated Mean Girls musical will offer two different lotteries for all performances: one in-person at the theatre and another online. Both will launch March 12—the day of the first preview.

The in-person lottery will accept entries beginning two-and-a-half hours before the show at the August Wilson Theatre, with winners selected two hours before. Winners must be present and be able to provide a valid ID.

The digital lottery will accept entries through MeanGirlsonBroadway.com beginning March 7. Drawings will be held the day before the performance. All entrants will be notified of their status by 1 PM, and winners will have until 10:59 PM that night to claim tickets online.

Both lotteries will offer up to two tickets per winner, priced at $42.50 each.

BROADWAY RUSH, LOTTERY, AND STANDING ROOM ONLY POLICIES

The musical features a book by Tina Fey (who wrote and appeared in the original 2004 film), a score by her husband Jeff Richmond, and lyrics by Nell Benjamin. Casey Nicholaw directs and choreographs.

The cast includes Erika Henningsen as Cady Heron, Taylor Louderman as Regina George, Ashley Park as Gretchen Wieners, Kate Rockwell as Karen Smith, Kerry Butler as Ms. Norbury, Barrett Wilbert Weed as Janis Sarkisian, Grey Henson as Damian Hubbard, Cheech Manohar as Kevin Gnapoor, Kyle Selig as Aaron Samuels, and Rick Younger as Mr. Duvall.

Opening night is set for April 8.
