Broadway's Misery Inspires Crimson Red Lipstick | Playbill

News Broadway's Misery Inspires Crimson Red Lipstick Misery, the new Broadway suspense thriller based on Stephen King's novel of the same name, has inspired a new lipstick from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics.

David Klasfeld, who is the founder of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, told InStyle he wanted to develop the lip color because the cosmetics line is used backstage at the Broadhurst Theatre. He also loved the shade of red that was chosen to be used in the Misery logo.

The "Misery" LIP TAR/RTW is available in bright crimson red and is described as such: "The original matte liquid lipstick, formulated for unrivaled pigment intensity and wear-time, is now ready-to-wear! Only the smallest amount of the newly included doe-foot applicator is needed for opaque coverage. Wear matte as intended, or layer for a glossy finish."
