Broadway News Broadway’s Nick Cordero and Amanda Kloots Welcome First Child Tony nominee and former Waitress star Cordero is a dad!

Broadway couple Nick Cordero and Amanda Kloots announced the birth of their first child via Instagram June 10.

Elvis Eduardo Cordero was born at 6:41AM on June 10 at Mount Sinai West, weighing in at 7lbs and 15oz.

The couple met during their time in 2014’s Bullets Over Broadway, for which Cordero earned a Tony Award nomination. Kloots was an ensemblist in the production. The two became engaged in March 2017 and married in September 2017.

Cordero made his Broadway debut in Rock of Ages before playing the role of Cheech in Bullets Over Broadway. He subsequently originated the roles of Earl in Sara Bareilles’ Waitress and Sonny in the musical version of A Bronx Tale.

Kloots made her Broadway debut in Good Vibrations and later appeared in 2011’s Follies. She is also a former Radio City Rockette.
