Beginning Sept. 8 Ryan Link — who is currently touring in Elton John and Tim Rice's Aida — will assume the role currently played by Cary Shields. Link's agent confirmed the news to Playbill On-Line. The young actor is scheduled to stay with the Tony-winning musical through Feb. 1, 2004.
