The Broadway production of the hit Stephen Schwartz-Winnie Holzman musical Wicked welcomes Tony nominee Isabel Keating and Obie winner Martin Moran beginning January 30 at the Gershwin Theatre.
Keating steps into the role of Madame Morrible, with Moran as Doctor Dillamond. Rondi Reed (Madame Morrible) and Chad Jennings (Dr. Dillamond) gave their final performances January 28.
Keating comes to the Broadway cast directly from playing Madame Morrible in the national tour. She received a Tony nomination and Drama Desk Award for The Boy from Oz. Moran last appeared as Doctor Dillamond in the Wicked national tour in 2011. His previous New York stage credits include Spamalot, Cabaret, Titanic, Bells Are Ringing, Big River, The Cider House Rules, The Tricky Part, and All the Rage.
Keating and Moran join a cast that currently includes Jackie Burns as Elphaba, Amanda Jane Cooper as Glinda, Fred Applegate as The Wizard, Ashley Parker Angel as Fiyero, Jye Frasca as Boq, and Kristen Martin as Nessarose.
