News Broke-ology Makes World Premiere at Williamstown July 9 In the Heights' Tony-nominated director Thomas Kail stages the world premiere of Nathan Louis Jackson's Broke-ology, which begins performances at the Williamstown Theatre Festival July 9.

Francois Battiste (Prelude to a Kiss), Gaius Charles ("Friday Night Lights"), Wendell Pierce ("The Wire") and April Yvette Thompson (The Exonerated) star in the production that plays the Nikos stage through July 20. "The King family has weathered the hardships of life and survived with their love for each other intact," according to Broke-ology press notes. "But when two brothers are called home to take care of their ailing father, one of them must choose to follow the life he dreams of or honor the unspoken promise of loyalty to his family."

Designing Broke-ology are Donyale Werle (set design), Emily Rebholz (costume design), Tony Award winner Howell Binkley (lighting design) and Jill DuBoff (sound design).
