Broken Box Mime Theatre is set to stage See Reverse, a new set of short plays devised and performed by the ensemble. The production is part of A.R.T/New York’s inaugural season Off-Broadway.

Performances of See Reverse will begin February 17 with an official opening night set for February 21 at the Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theater, located in A.R.T/New York’s new arts complex at 502 West 53rd Street.

The collection of 10 plays, paired with original music, range from film noir to political protest to twisted fable. True to Broken Box Mime Theatre’s method of storytelling through body movement exclusively, each of the works is presented without the use of props, sets, costumes, or words. Performances are scheduled to run through March 5.

Broken Box Mime Theatre was founded in 2011 and is led by artistic director Becky Baumwoll.

The cast consists of members of the Broken Box Mime Theater’s full company: Baumwoll, Géraldine Dulex, Matt Zambrano, David Jenkins, Blake Habermann, Duane Cooper, Nick Abeel, and Marissa Molnar. Additional company members include Dinah Berkeley, Eliza Simpson, Joshua Wynter, Joel Perez, and Tasha Milkman. Lighting design is by Jamie Roderick.
