"A fantastical modern love story, performed in nine scenes, with a prologue, an epilogue, and one strange interlude," the play concerns Danny, a reclusive Brooklyn playwright who awakens one morning from a strange dream. According to Storm Theatre, "A mysterious shadow dancer has just paid him a visitation, beckoning him into a brave new world. Is Danny's dream an ecstatic vision? Is it a portent of things to come? Or is it merely the result of too many beers from the night before?"

John Regis is a Storm founding member; Storm staged his Stavrogin's Confession. He has also acted and directed for Storm.

Storm artistic director Peter Dobbins will direct a cast that includes Stephen Logan Day, Jenn Zarine Habeck, Gabe Levey, Christy Linn, Jamil Mena, Benita Robledo, Ken Trammell and Joshua Vasquez.

The creative team includes scenic designer Todd Edward Ivins, costume designer Jessica Lustig, lighting designer Bill Sheehan, sound designer Scott O'Brien, assistant director Rachel Muddd, stage manager Michelle Kafel and producing director Chance Michaels.

Performances of Linnea continue to Feb. 3. The Storm Theatre performs at St. Mary's at 145 W. 46th Street in Manhattan.
