There's yet another Bimbo dwelling in Los Angeles. This one, however, has something on its mind. Bimbo, a comedy by Heidi Boren and Keith Lakey, opened Oct. 15 and is currently playing at the Lee Strasberg Creative Center, directed by Bruce A. Block.
"The bimbo in question is Chantal," said a company spokesperson. "Attired in her short skirt, with her fifth-grade education and a love of Frito pies served on a TV tray, she shows up at the Windsdale mansion. The overbred Windsdale daughters, Mopsie and Blanche, smell trouble at the prospect of the trailer-park trollop joining the family."
Block said "this script was just too wicked to pass up -- and it manages to be wicked without being mean-spirited."
The cast consists of Boren, Lakey, Michelle Holmes, Melody Rae and Marilyn Rising.
