“It’s so thrilling to celebrate the incredible women and nonbinary people who make music in our industry with an in-person and online event this year,” says Baldwin and Maestra's founder Georgia Stitt in a joint statement. “Last year, we pulled off our inaugural concert and community event when Broadway was shut down and gathering together was only virtual. To have the opportunity to highlight composers, musicians, and performers who have helped provide community at a time when we needed it most, while raising money and awareness for Maestra’s programs, is a real joy.”

Music Director Julianne B. Merrill and Associate Music Director Emily Erickson will lead a band made up entirely of Maestra members, with Merrill on piano, Yuka Tadano on bass, Elena Bonomo on drums, Meghan Doyle on guitar, Mazz Swift on violin, Sasha Ono on the cello, and Chris MacDonnell playing tenor sax.

Stitt and Baldwin serve as writers for the event. The broadcast is directed by Jess Ryan, with Dustin Z. West in place as Livestream Production Manager and Jereme Kyle Lewis serving as stage manager.

Amplify 2022 is executive produced by Laura Ivey, Courtney A. Smith, and Greg Kamp.
