The Jonathan Munby-helmed staging will officially open February 21 and is currently scheduled to run through May 5.

Jones won a BAFTA Award for her title performance in BBC One’s Doctor Foster. She previously appeared in the West End in Top Girls, A Few Good Men, and Beautiful Thing. Joining her onstage will be Olivier nominee Jason Watkins, best known for his performance in the title role of The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies.

Frozen, not to be confused with Disney’s upcoming Broadway musical of the same name, follows the crossing paths of three adults: a mother who lost her ten-year-old daughter, the serial killer responsible for her murder, and the psychiatrist who studies him.

The play premiered at Birmingham Repertory Theatre in 1998. The 2004 Broadway production received a Tony nomination for Best Play.

Additional casting will be announced at a later date. The new production will feature sets and costumes by Paul Wills, lighting design by Jon Clark, video design by Luke Halls, sound design by Christopher Shutt, and original music by Rupert Cross. Jonathan Church Productions, TRH Productions, and Scott Delman serve as producers.
