Playbill On-Line has learned that Broadway Television Network (BTN) planners prepping a 30-minute free preview teaser that will air immediately before the Sept. 10 pay-per-view broadcast of Smokey Joe's Cafe: The Songs of Leiber and Stoller. Smokey Joe's airs at 9 PM Sept. 10. The preview teaser airs at 8:30 PM, a production source said. Celebrity cast members will probably be tapped for the preview, though discussions are still under way. The teaser will include talk about the show and a possible live performance from the theatre district, perhaps Times Square itself.
