News Buffet of Words Served in Tasting Memories, With Harris, Bosco and More, Off-Bway May 19-June 13 Tasting Memories, "a compilation of delicious reveries in poetry, song and prose," will have its world premiere May 19-June 13, with a starry rotating cast including Kitty Carlisle Hart, Rosemary Harris, Philip Bosco, Alvin Epstein, Joy Franz and Kathleen Noone.

The project is presented by Off-Broadway's The Colleagues Theatre Company (Catherine Wolf, producing director), the troupe devoted to work by, for and about people in their mature years.

Mel Cobb, Michael Fischetti and Emily Mitchell are also part of the performance. Don Amendolia will direct the production at The Neighborhood Playhouse, 340 East 54th Street (between First and Second Avenues). Opening night is May 21, which is a benefit for The Colleagues Theatre Company (all seats $100, to include show and after-show reception).

Tasting Memories is created by Michael Fischetti and Emily Mitchell, has musical direction by Michael Smith, set design by Drew Donovan; lights by Marcia Madeira; sound design by John Peifer, with Karen Beatty as costume coordinator and Dyanne Court as production stage manager.

* The Colleagues Theatre Company was founded in 1996 by Catherine Wolf "to identify and develop performance opportunities for the mature and seasoned actor and to provide training opportunities in theatrical craftsmanship for gifted high school graduates from underserved communities."  The not-for-profit troupe has presented the American premiere of Angela Huth's The Understanding; world premieres of George Bamford's Irish Strawberries and Gary Richards' Second Summer; plus Jean Giraudoux's comic fable The Madwoman of Chaillot starring Kim Hunter, Anne Jackson and Alvin Epstein; Max Frisch's The Firebugs starring Laurence Luckinbill; Wit & Wisdom featuring Kitty Carlisle Hart, Rosemary Harris, Tammy Grimes, Sandy Duncan, Carmen de Lavallade, Joan Copeland, Alvin Epstein, Rita Gam and Dina Merrill, and most recently, William Gibson's Handy Dandy with Helen Gallagher and Nicolas Surovy.
