Stephen Buntrock will again step into the role of Teen Angel in the hit revival of Grease at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, while Jackie Hoffman will again assume the roles of Calliope and Aphrodite in the acclaimed new musical Xanadu at the Helen Hayes Theatre.

Buntrock, who created the role of Teen Angel for this production of Grease, succeeds "American Idol" winner Taylor Hicks, who spent the summer singing "Beauty School Dropout." Hoffman follows a limited stint by "View" host, Academy Award winner Whoopi Goldberg. Both Hicks and Goldberg play their final performances Sept. 7.

Grease features book, music and lyrics by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey. The new production also boasts songs from the hit 1978 film, which co-starred John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. Among the film songs heard in the Broadway revival are "Sandy," "Hopelessly Devoted to You," "Grease" and "You're the One That I Want."

Xanadu boasts a book by Little Dog Laughed playwright Douglas Carter Beane — a 2007 and 2008 Tony Award nominee — and utilizes songs from John Farrar and Jeff Lynne's film soundtrack. The musical, according to press notes, "tells the story of one of the nine muses of ancient Greece who comes to earth to inspire the greatest of artistic achievements – a roller disco. Along the way she falls in love, bumps into an old acquaintance and for the first time, feels the desire to create herself."
