News Burlesque to Broadway, with Quinn Lemley, to Sizzle at Lehman Center The New York Lehman Center for the Performing Arts will take audiences back to the world of striptease artists and fan dancers with Burlesque to Broadway, a one-night-only presentation April 17 at 8 PM.

Quinn Lemley, who will headline the evening, "brings to life the songs and music of all the characters from that gilded time when Mae West, Sally Rand, Gypsy Rose Lee and others were captivating audiences. It was an outrageous world where humor and attitude prevailed in high energy, and this fast-paced musical extravaganza presents one show-stopping hit after another. Sequins, feathers, gorgeous girls and of course, Quinn, pay homage to the music and that world that was called Burlesque," according to press notes. Lemley's stage credits include The Heat is On! A Life in Concert Celebrating Rita Hayworth, Sirens of the Silver Screen, Born to Rhumba!, Wanda and The King of Hair.

The Lehman Center is located on the Lehman College/CUNY Campus at 250 Bedford Park Boulevard West in the Bronx. For tickets call (718) 960-8833 or visit www.lehmancenter.org.
