On May 31, PBS' "The Charlie Rose Show" will celebrate the Tony Awards with a program devoted to Tony nominees Topdog/Underdog, The Goat, and The Elephant Man.

Scheduled to appear from The Goat are stars Bill Pullman and Mercedes Ruehl as well as Pulitzer Prize winning author Edward Albee. Nominated for two Tony Awards, The Goat is currently playing at the Golden Theatre on Broadway.

Representing Topdog/Underdog will be playwright Suzan-Lori Parks, winner of this year's Pulitzer Prize for Drama. This segment was previously broadcast in early May.

Finally, Billy Crudup and Kate Burton of The Elephant Man will also appear on the late night PBS chatfest. The play, which had announced an end date of June 9 to its Broadway run, recently posted a closing notice of June 2. Both actors are up for Tonys: Best Actor in a Play for Billy Crudup; and Best Featured Actress in a Play for Kate Burton.

"Charlie Rose" runs on PBS-TV at 11 PM. For those in the New York City area, WNET-13, the local PBS affiliate, will run a special Tony edition of TheaterTalk before and after "Charlie Rose" at 10:30 PM and midnight.
