News Busy "Supergirl" Shooting Schedule Prompts Jeremy Jordan Concert Cancellations "Smash" and Newsies star Jeremy Jordan has canceled his July 27-28 concerts at the Crown & Anchor in Provincetown, MA, due to scheduling conflicts with the new CBS series "Supergirl."


"To all the lovely fans who hoped to see me in Provincetown, I'm so sorry we have to cancel the shows," Jordan said in a statement. "Scheduling issues have me stuck in LA, and sadly there was just no way to avoid this. Thanks for understanding and I hope you'll all continue to support the Broadway Series at the Crown & Anchor. Hopefully we can come back to Provincetown very soon!"

"Supergirl" also features Melissa Benoist, Calista Flockhart, Mehcad Brooks, Chyler Leigh, Helen Slater, Dean Cain and David Harewood with Tony winner Laura Benanti in a recurring role as Kara's birth mother.

Upcoming appearances at the Crown & Anchor include Bernadette Peters (July 19), Linda Lavin (Aug. 3 & 4), Shirley Jones (Aug. 10 & 11), Billy Porter (Aug. 16-18), Kathy Griffin (Aug. 23), Charles Busch (Aug. 31-Sept. 1) and Linda Eder (Oct. 10 & 11).
