News Butler, Roberts and Cubby Bernstein to Be Part of Macy's "Sing for Your Tickets" Competition You don't need to be nominated to attend the 2008 Tony Awards: Macy's will give away tickets at the "Sing for Your Tickets" Tony Awards Talent Competition June 13, which will be held at Macy's Herald Square in Manhattan.

Theatre lovers will have the opportunity to compete for a pair of tickets to the 62nd annual Tony Awards as well as a $1,000 Macy's shopping spree.

Xanadu Tony nominee Kerry Butler and fellow cast member Tony Roberts will serve as guest judges for the competition. The event will be hosted by members of Broadway's The 39 Steps and feature the now infamous Xanadu Tony campaign manager Cubby Bernstein.

Participants must perform a song for the assembled judges from a pre-selected list. At 6 PM, the New York judges' favorite will compete with semi-finalists from the nationwide Macy's competition.

Those who spend over $150 at Macy's during the event will have the opportunity to win tickets to Xanadu and The 39 Steps.

Sign-in for "Sing for Your Tickets" begins at 5 PM on the main floor of Macy's department store the day of the event. Stage and screen star Whoopi Goldberg will host the 62nd Annual Tony Awards, which will be presented June 15. CBS-TV will broadcast the event live from Radio City Music Hall, 8-11 PM ET.
