The Michael Mayer-helmed Broadway revival of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown will play part of its national tour at D.C.'s Kennedy Center in the summer of 2000.

According to production spokesperson Jim Byk, the tour will play at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, with other cities in negotiations. It is currently unknown on whether the musical would retain the Broadway cast for the tour or not.

The production received the Outstanding Revival of a Musical Award from by the Drama Desk and is nominated for Best Revival of a Musical in the Tony Awards, with Kristin Chenoweth and Roger Bart up for Featured Actress and Actor nods.
