Shindle will offer her cabaret evening — which includes songs and tales about her life during and beyond the pageant life — Feb. 8 and 22 at 7 PM at the intimate Manhattan theatre. Me and My Shadow features the music of John Kander and Fred Ebb, William Finn, Frank Wildhorn and Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich. Kate Shindle earned the title of Miss America in 1998. She portrayed Sally Bowles in the Roundabout revival of Cabaret and also appeared on Broadway as Lucy in Jekyll & Hyde. Shindle recently took part in the all-star benefit concert of Children of Eden and will be seen in the upcoming remake of "The Stepford Wives."
