News Cabaret's Stamos Joins the Beach Boys for NSMT Concert John Stamos — most recently on Broadway as the Emcee in the Tony winning Cabaret revival — will team up with the Beach Boys for a concert at the North Shore Music Theatre next month.

Stamos will play drums at the Aug. 4 concert in Beverly, MA. The actor musician has appeared with the famed band previously; he played percussion on their 1988 hit "Kokomo," and he also lent vocals to the group's 1992 recording, "Summer in Paradise." John Stamos' professional career began with stints on ABC's "General Hospital" and the popular series "Full House." For ABC, he also starred in the short-lived series "Thieves." As a producer, Stamos received an Emmy nomination for co-producing the miniseries, "Beach Boys: An American Family." On the big screen the actor was seen in the black comedy "Dropping Out" and the romantic comedy "Grownups." Stamos made his Broadway debut in the revival of How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying. The California native currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Rebecca Romijn-Stamos.
