News Cabnet Named stageFARM Associate Artist Spin co-director Evan Cabnet has been named an associate artist of Off-Broadway's stageFARM.

Cabnet, who staged the East Coast premiere of David Margulies' Shipwrecked! An Entertainment for the Long Wharf Theatre in 2008, served as co-director for stageFARM's theme-centered evening of short plays, Spin, last fall. As part of his work with stageFARM, Cabnet will return this fall to direct a set of play anthologies. StageFARM artistic director Alex Kilgore, who co-directed Spin with Cabnet, said in a statement, "We are thrilled about Evan joining the stageFARM. He's an amazing director who shares our vision and beliefs about theater."

Cabnet's directorial credits also include The Mistakes Madeline Made, Wonderland, Hearts Like Fists, Tell Out My Soul, A Little Soul Searching, as well as his own adaptations of Ubu Roi and Salman Rushdie's Haroun and the Sea of Stories.
