News Cabnet Replaces Kilgore as Gingerbread House Director Evan Cabnet has replaced Alex Kilgore as director of stageFARM's The Gingerbread House, according to a press statement. No reason for the change was given.

Following a delayed first preview, Mark Schultz's The Gingerbread House began performances at Off-Broadway's Rattlesticks Playwrights Theater April 13. Opening night remains April 18.

Cabnet was recently named an associate artist of stageFARM. He staged the East Coast premiere of David Margulies' Shipwrecked! An Entertainment for the Long Wharf Theatre in 2008 and served as co-director for stageFARM's theme-centered evening of short plays, Spin, last fall.

The Gingerbread House cast comprises Bobby Cannavale, Jason Butler Harner, Jackie Hoffman, Sarah Paulson and Ben Rappaport.

In The Gingerbread House, press notes state, "Brian and Stacey want a better life, the life they deserve. But what they're willing to do to get it will destroy their family, rip them apart...and finally get them into the Club."

The design team features John McDermott (sets), Ben Stanton (lighting), Jessica Wegener (costumes), Zane Birdwell (sound) and Richard DiBella (video/projections). Show times are Tuesday-Saturday at 8 PM and Sunday at 5 PM.

The Rattlestick Playwrights Theater is located at 224 Waverly Place. Tickets, priced $40, are available by visiting www.smarttix.com. For more information go to www.thestagefarm.org.
