News Cady Huffman and Julie White Star in Film of Rebeck's Sunday on the Rocks A film version of playwright Theresa Rebeck's early work, Sunday on the Rocks, will gets its East Coast premiere on July 26 at the Stony Brook Film Festival at Stony Brook, Long Island.

Huffman, the original Ulla in The Producers, and Amiee Turner (The Will Rogers Follies) produce the film, which was directed by stage and film actor Joe Morton. Starring are Huffman, Turner, Off-Broadway favorite Julie White (Fiction, Bad Dates), and Suzzanne Douglas. Sunday on the Rocks was first performed in Boston. It was later produced by the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven and is a favorite play on the college circuit. The story concerns four women in their thirties sharing an old Victorian house in New England and "the Sunday that would change their lives."
