Juicy passages from autobiographies by big-name celebrities including Oprah and Celine Dion will get the irreverent Celebrity Autobiography treatment in the May and June installments of the popular New York stage series, now in its eighth year.

Tony Award winner Cady Huffman, four-time Oscar nominee Marsha Mason, and Mario Cantone are among stage and TV starts lined up to put their personal spin on selections from actual celebrity autobiographies.

They will read selections from the writings of such celebrity authors as Oprah, Dion, Pippa Middleton, Kate Hudson, Barry Manilow, Zayn (of One Direction), Linda Thompson (on Elvis Presley), plus a reading from Britney Spears’ Diary and a special “Cook Book-N-Bake-Off” with excerpts from celebrity-written cookbooks. Will Shortz, editor of the daily New York Times crossword puzzles, will read the surprise memoir of a famous television puzzle host May 20. There will also be a special tribute to Debbie Reynolds.

Here are the guest readers for the two upcoming editions:

May 20: Cantone, Huffman, and Shortz, with Rachel Dratch, Tate Donovan, John Fugelsang, Alan Zweibel, Eugene Pack, and Dayle Reyfel.

June 26: Mason, along with Gina Gershon, Peter Asher, Maulik Pancholy, Scott Adsit, Alan Zweibel, Eugene Pack, and Dayle Reyfel.

Both editions will kick off at 7 PM at The Triad, 158 West 72nd Street in Manhattan. Tickets cost $80, $60 & $40 (plus a two-drink minimum) and can be purchased online at CelebrityAutobiography.com.
