Conceived and directed by Rob Morean, a sophomore at Tisch School of the Arts in the Department of Drama's New Studio on Broadway — and inspired by his recent battle and win against Hodgkin's Lymphoma — all proceeds from the cabaret will be donated directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Hosted by Morean and Zuzanna Szadkowski ("Gossip Girl"), the 8 PM concert also features solo performances from Adrienne Eller, Monet Sabel, Adee David, Sojourner Brown, Kylie Cipolla, Brooke Wetterhahn, Kelly Plescia, Alexys Hewitt, Allie Sandler, Mia Gerachis, Veronica Thompson, Colin Parinello, Jessica Golden and more.
Morean also produces alongside Amanda Pinto and Jake Nathanson. Musical direction is by Nick Berke with choreography by Josh Zacher.
James Nguyen (Something Rotten!) serves as director of design with media content by Sub/Urban Photography.
Raise Your Voice: A Cabaret for a Cure is held in the Eisner and Lubin Auditorium at The Kimmel Center at 60 Washington Square South.
