The evening boasts four Broadway actresses: Tony Award winner Zoe Caldwell, Jenn Colella, Marin Mazzie and Tony winner Donna McKechnie. Price also directs the 7:30 PM performance; Paul Gemignani conducts the Manhattan School of Music Chamber Sinfonia. Beautiful Girls, according to press notes, showcases "a compilation of Sondheim songs that explore a women's journey through life reflected by his music." Expect songs from West Side Story, Gypsy, A Little Night Music, Sunday in the Park with George, Into the Woods, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Company, Follies and Sweeney Todd.

Tony winner Angela Lansbury, back on Broadway in Sondheim's A Little Night Music, will be on hand following the concert, appearing at a reception in the Peter Jay Sharp President's Residence adjacent to the School. Lansbury, joined by the evening's stars, will discuss her musical theatre career and her work with Sondheim.
