The series, titled “Billy Elliot: Express Yourself,” is being maintained by the show’s Broadway company, who are “looking for fans of all ages and backgrounds to tell their personal stories of discovery or triumph—whether it’s finding a hidden talent, following their dreams or creating change within their community,” according to press notes. “Participants are asked to submit their inspiring story, explaining how it relates to the themes of Billy Elliot, via video or written word.”

Submissions will be accepted through July 31. From there, lucky storytellers will be invited to attend a Billy Elliot performance and to professionally film their stories for the podcast. These videos will then be made available on the Billy Eliot website.
