News Calvert, Grové and Adams Featured in April 9 Alchemists Reading; Gets Hosts Stage and screen star Malcolm Gets hosts a concert reading of The Alchemists April 9 to benefit the Prospect Theater Company's 2006-2007 season.

The concert at the Lucille Lortel Theatre will feature the talents of Richard Todd Adams (The Pirate Queen, The Woman in White), Jessica Grové (Thoroughly Modern Millie) and Heath Calvert (Good Vibrations) as well as Charles Hagerty, Michael Hunsaker and Michael Minarik. The Alchemists features music and lyrics by Peter Mills and a book by Mills and Cara Reichel. The musical, according to press notes, is "set in Regency England amidst the passions of the romantic age. It explores the idealistic pursuits and follows the romantic entanglements of a group of childhood friends: a poet (Michael Minarik), a painter (Charles Hagerty), a seminarian (Michael Hunsaker), the heir of Foxwood Hall (Heath Calvert), and their muse — the orphaned Anne Quintrell (Jessica Grové)."

Tickets, priced $30-100, are available by calling (212) 279-4200 or by visiting www.ticketcentral.com. The Lucille Lortel Theatre is located in Manhattan at 121 Christopher Street.
