The acclaimed Canadian marionette troupe, Theatre Sans Fil, returns to the Victoria Theatre in Newark's New Jersey Performing Arts Center for two performances, Feb. 6 and Feb. 8. This time around, the oversize puppets perform The Crown of Destiny, a Scottish epic about courage and unity.

On Oct. 24, 1997, Theatre Sans Fil gave the inaugural performances in the 514-seat Victoria Theatre. The previous week, the larger symphony hall in the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, a $180 million glass-shelled structure, had opened to cheers and standing ovations from a black tie audience.

Theatre Sans Fil performs Feb. 6 at 7 PM and Feb. 8 at 2 PM. For tickets, call (888) 466-5722.
