The show is scheduled to play a limited, five-week engagement.

Girls & Boys, directed by Olivier Award winner Lyndsey Turner (Chimerica, Posh), is about a married woman and mother whose world has taken a disturbing turn. The play debuted in London in February.

Audible will also record and release Mulligan’s performance as an audio play, as the company did previously with Harry Clarke starring Billy Crudup (currently in its final three weeks at the Minetta Lane). Audible listeners will also have exclusive access to discounted tickets to the Off-Broadway production of Girls & Boys. Click here for more information.

Kelly is the Tony-winning book writer of Matilda the Musical; his plays include The Ritual Slaughter of Gorge Mastromas, The Gods Weep, and Orphans, among other. On television, he wrote Pulling on BBC 3 as well as the six-part drama Utopia.

Her other Broadway credit is the 2008 revival of Chekhov’s The Seagull, in which she played Nina. On screen, she has starred in the films An Education, for which she was nominated for an Academy Award, Drive, Suffragette, Never Let Me Go, and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, among others.

The creative team for Girls & Boys is made up of Es Devlin (set design), Jack Galloway (costume design), Luke Halls (video design), Oliver Fenwick (lighting design), David McSeveney (sound design), and Joseph Alford (movement).
