Playbill On-Line wishes a mazel tov to Al Hirschfeld, 93-year-old theatre cartoonist and subject of the recent film documentary, The Line King, not just for his continued success, but for his marriage last week to 60-year-old Louise Kerz, widow of producer and designer Leo Kerz.

The two are currently on tour promoting the film.

Two years ago, Hirschfeld's wife of 51 years, Dolly Haas, passed away. As people who've seen The Line King know, Hirschfeld underwent a lengthy mourning period, but he's always been too spry and active to simply pine away.

As reported in the Daily News, the Margo Feiden Gallery, which exhibits Hirschfeld's drawings in New York, will hold a reception for the happy couple on their return. And yes, Nina -- Hirschfeld's daughter, whose name is hidden in each of his characteristic curly-lined drawings -- is expected to attend.
