Musical theatre legend Carol Channing will be featured on the Nov. 4 "Charlie Rose Show" on PBS. Other guests include Chris Matthews, author of "American: Beyond Our Grandest Notions" and a mid-term election roundtable. Channing will discuss her autobiography "Just Lucky I Guess." Channing, who is best known for starring in several Broadway productions of Hello, Dolly!, will be inducted into the Theatre Hall of Fame. Channing's manager Roger Denny told Playbill On-Line that the actress was working on a musical revue based on the recent Simon & Schuster release, which details, among her triumphs on Broadway and in film, her long term food addictions, her battle with cancer and her first marriage to a struggling novelist, Ted Naidish.
"The Charlie Rose Show" airs on PBS at 11:30 PM (ET) in the New York City area (Channel 13). Check local listings for the time in your area. Charlie Rose is on the web at http://www.charlierose.com/.
