PlayBlog Carol Channing to Appear with Richard Skipper at NYC Barnes and Noble Tony Award-winning stage legend Carol Channing and MAC Award-winning cabaret performer (and Channing impersonator) Richard Skipper will discuss Channing's career and her latest album, "For Heaven's Sake," 6 PM July 23 at Barnes and Noble Lincoln Triangle at 66th and Broadway.


Channing will also be signing copies of the CD, “For Heaven’s Sake,” a collection of gospel favorites and standards.

A Tony winner for Hello, Dolly! and a recipient of the 1995 Lifetime Achievement Tony Award, Channing has also appeared on in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, The Vamp, Show Girl, Wonderful Town and Lend an Ear. She received a Golden Globe Award and Oscar nomination for “Thoroughly Modern Millie.”
