A spokesman for the 91-year-old Hello, Dolly! and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes star told Playbill.com on Oct. 10 that the actress' doctor advised against air travel for the immediate future. She recently "frustrated" an earlier fracture of her fifth vertebrae, which is expected to fully heal.

The tireless stage, film, TV and recording star is in physical therapy twice a week, and is in high spirits and eager to continue making her popular public appearances, her spokesman said on Oct. 10.

Channing lives in the Palm Springs area.
