News Carolee Carmello, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Rachel Bay Jones and Barrett Wilbert Weed Will Sing Songs of Miller & Tysen The Songs of Miller & Tysen, featuring new material by songwriters Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen — including premiere songs from the new musical Tuck Everlasting — will be held Sept. 15 at 54 Below.

Performers at the 7 PM and 9:30 PM concerts include Carolee Carmello, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Rachel Bay Jones, Barrett Wilbert Weed, Fred Applegate, Michael Park, Robert Lenzi and Michael Wartella.

The evening will have musical direction by Ben Cohn and will feature Sean Driscoll on guitar. Miller and Tysen will also host and perform.

"Described as equal parts James Taylor and Stephen Sondheim, Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen's songs have been performed everywhere from East Village folk clubs, to Off-Broadway theatres, to 'Sesame Street,'" according to press notes. "The concert will feature some of Broadway's best performers singing never-before-heard material from Tuck Everlasting, which premieres at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta this winter. The concert will also include favorite tunes from The Burnt Part Boys and The Mysteries of Harris Burdick."

Miller (music) and Tysen (lyrics) have written The Burnt Part Boys (2010 Lucille Lortel nomination, Best Musical) and Fugitive Songs (2008 Drama Desk Award nomination, Outstanding Revue), both of which have cast albums on Yellow Sound Label available at iTunes and Amazon.
