The new Australian production will be directed by Dean Bryant and choreographed by Andrew Hallsworth, and will launch in Melbourne May 22, 2015, with engagements in Brisbane and Sydney to follow.

In addition to O'Connor, the cast will feature Alex Rathgeber as Billy Crocker, Claire Lyon as Hope Harcourt, Wayne Scott Kermond as Moonface Martin, Todd McKenney as Lord Evelyn Oakleigh, Alan Jones as The Captain, Carmen Duncan as Evangeline Harcourt and Debora Krizak as Erma.

Here's how producers describe the production: "For decades, Anything Goes has captivated millions with its delightful story of madcap antics aboard the SS American. When the ocean liner embarks from New York to London, etiquette and convention get tossed out the portholes as two unlikely pairs set off on the course to find true love… proving that sometimes destiny needs a little help from a crew of singing sailors, an exotic disguise and some good old-fashioned blackmail... all aboard for this saucy and splendid new production of Anything Goes!”

Music direction will be by Peter Casey with set and costume design by Dale Ferguson, lighting design by Matt Scott and sound design by Michael Waters.

Tickets go on sale Sept. 22; visit anythinggoesmusical.com.au for more information.
